Actuators: These are the robot’s muscles that give it the ability to move.

Nowadays, robotic waiters are becoming common in large hotels. They use technology like Computer Vision and Lidar, which allows them to reach tables without bumping into anyone. How do these robots behave politely with humans? Behind this is Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology. These robots understand people’s voices, gauge their emotions, and use pre-programmed polite sentences to welcome the customer.

Robots are now also being seen on the roads. Traffic control robots are equipped with cameras that have the ability to recognize traffic flow, the number plates of violating vehicles, and emergency situations on the road. These robots do not get tired and have the ability to be on duty 24 hours a day.
